For our client, an American OEM of the e-mobility sector, we are now looking for a candidate to complement the global supplier quality team as

Interim SQE / SQA (f/m/d) - Europe

Tasks:

  • Execution of routine audits and monitoring of supplier performance using quality KPIs including supplier corrective actions & parts per million
  • Prevention of potential errors in relation to manufacturability, process control as well as design & development or implementation of solutions in cooperation with the suppliers
  • Review of supplier’s processes & quality systems
  • Monitoring & Implementation of certification processes & components qualification with suppliers
  • Improvement of quality standards by setting up seminars at supplier locations and provision of technical support in the development of a quality system
  • Carry out weekly meetings with suppliers to ensure supplier compliance with advanced product quality planning process
  • Facilitation of quality problem solving process by supervising and approving 8D reports from suppliers
  • Cooperation with different tiers
  • Approval of device, component & tool designs & supplier quality plans on new component programs
  • Assurance of suppliers understanding of product and part approval process requirements
  • Business trips to international and national suppliers (>30%) - main suppliers are in France / Germany / Spain / Czech Republic

Profile:

  • Successfully completed technical studies (Engineering) or comparable qualification
  • Long-term relevant professional experience in supplier quality management (quality, design / construction, manufacturing) in the automotive sector
  • Profound knowledge of automotive standards (PPAP & APQP) including SPC, MSA, FMEA, Control Plans, GR&R, Flow Charts & Capacity Analysis
  • Understanding of quality system standards (IATF/ISO)
  • High perceptional skills, organizational talent, ability to work in a team
  • Proven knowledge of manufacturing / assembly processes, tools and practices
  • Ability to work with and develop metrics (PPM, Scrap Rate, FTQ, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of safety / critical features and GD&T
  • Willingness to travel
  • Business fluency in English & fluency in French mandatory, German skills advantageous
  • Profound knowledge of MS Office
